Museo Della Ferrovia della Valle del Liri di Arce

The new exhibition space  born in the heart of the Liri Valley, in the historic centre of Arce, the ” Railway Museum ” is creating a great representation of the railroad landscapes and of the most significant scenarios of the actual rail path , with particular attention to :

ARCE,  junction for the Liri Valley, its large mill and a first example of a side feeder rail-line connecting an industrial estate

FONTANA LIRI, the gun-powder Factory , the railway intersection, history and economic development

ARPINO, economic and cultural historical relevance  of its Railway Station

SORA, economic and cultural historical relevance  of its Railway Station

BALSORANO, the castle and the railroad

CAPISTRELLO, the boldness of one of the first-ever railway helicoidal tunnels

The Railway Museum , in addition to the then  permanent exhibition of the landscape representation of  the Liri Valley , does  want to promote and implement cultural interest and public debates aimed at fostering the use and spreading of historical knowledge and social-economic facts , related to the area of Arce , the railroad Arce Roccasecca-Avezzano and the Liri Valley .
